Install Terminal Services Client - Exercise

Installing and testing Terminal Services Client Software

Objective: Run the Terminal Services Client software and select a computer from the list of available servers. Here's a simulation that will help you practice running Terminal Services Client software. When you have completed the exercise, click the Submit button.

Background

This exercise builds on the simulation you just completed where you installed the Terminal Services Client software by using the Add/Remove Programs.

Instructions

Run the Terminal Services Client software and enter the name of your computer for the server. Select the Cache bitmaps to disk check box, and use the following information to start the session:
  1. User name: TSUser1
  2. Password: password
After successfully connecting, close the session, close all open windows on your desktop, and then log off. As with some other simulations within this course there are a few steps you'll need to figure out on your own. We'll tell you what to do, but figuring out how to do it will be your task in this exercise.
